Cerutti 2
Station Square, Beverley

In what was the station buffet. specialises in fish, though there is a wide range of entrees to suit all tastes. they have a specials menu; just under â£50 for two including a bottle of house wine. you will have to book well in advance as this place is very popular

Muang Thai
York Road

On lairgate - small plainly decorated thai restaurant. the food seems to be freshly prepared on the premises. prices are fairly high, expect to pay over â£50 for two with beers, more if you want wine

Beverley has a good variety of food, with a large number of tea-rooms and cafes, most of which are worth a visit. They vary in price, but by and large the price does reflect the quality. Cavanagh's tea-room on Butcher Row for example has very good breakfasts, but they will cost getting on for a tenner. The tea-cosy by the Minster is notable for a comfortable conservatory. TC's Patisserie on Lairgate offers genuine freshly prepared tarts, quiches etc; all under the guidance of Thiery.

There are some good restaurants;

Seraglio

Very nice plainly decorated turkish restaurant in a small courtyard off lairgate, the courtyard has a selection of mediterranean trees including a fig and a pomegranate. food is well prepared and fresh, expect to pay â£20 - 35 per head with beers

And many others, including some chains such as Pizza Express and upmarket burgers at Ranch.
